Patrick W. Bourque, DC
Dr. Patrick Bourque is a native of Ascension parish and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker University in Dallas, TX in 1997. He is well respected in the medical community for his excellent patient care and open communication with medical doctors and allied health professionals. Dr. Bourque is also heavily involved in the local community by supporting various local sports teams, dance teams, and non-profits, such as Project Kidz Kove. He is married to Alicé Bourque, a teacher at PVHS, and is the father of three. He is genuine, honest, and gifted in his treatment of his patients.
Dr. Bourque is an active trauma team member of the Academy of Chiropractic and is credentialed in MRI Review and Trauma through Cleveland University, Kansas City and the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
He is currently pursuing a Fellowship in Primary Spine Care through the State University of New York at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. This program includes extensive training in MRI spine interpretation, electrodiagnostic interpretation, impairment rating, stroke evaluation, concussion and traumatic brain injury, accident reconstruction, spinal trauma pathology, spinal neurology, spinal orthopedics, spinal biomechanical engineering and triaging the injured. In addition, he completed the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician program in 2006, remaining certified until 2019.
Dr. Bourque is a member of the Academy of Chiropractic that provides the latest research on diagnosing and treating spinal-related conditions. This allows Dr. Bourque to offer the latest techniques based upon peer-reviewed research when caring for his patients while also drawing from many years of practice experience.
